Spring Cocktails

Most of us, when we think of spring, think of beautifully colored fruits and vegetables and fresh flavored dishes. That doesn’t have to only apply to your meals! Below are some great spring cocktail options. Checkout out our ‘Mocktails’ post to see some non-alcoholic suggestions or tweak any of the below:

Sparkling Meyer Lemon Cocktail

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • 1 cup fresh Meyer lemon juice, chilled (apprx. 8 lemons)
  • 1/3 cup chilled vodka
  • 2 cups chilled prosecco or other sparkling wine

Mix all ingredients. Serve chilled.

Grapefruit mint mojito

  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp fine sugar
  • 20 fresh mint leaves, plus extra if desired for garnish
  • Zest and juice (3-4 TBSP) of 1/2 grapefruit
    • Can also sub for muddled strawberries and have a strawberry mojito
  • 4oz white rum
  • Club soda, as needed

Combine all ingredients & serve chilled.

Rose lemon spritzer

  • 2 tbsp rose water
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2-2 oz vodka (omit for mocktail)
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or to taste
  • *Can add a few drops of blood orange or pomegranate juice for color
  • 3/4 cup sparkling water (or more if needed)

Combine all ingredients & serve chilled.

Rosè Sangria

  • 2 bottles cold rosè wine
  • 1 green apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • Simple syrup, to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Club soda, optional to make it a sparkling sangria

Stir to combine all ingredients, and chill for 1-2 hours before serving.

Strawberry Gin Smash

  • 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 2 fresh strawberries, muddled
  • 3 ounces gin
  • Club soda
  • Fresh mint sprig, for garnish

Combine all ingredients and serve chilled.

Strawberry Mule

  • 1.5 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 strawberries, muddled
  • Ginger beer

Combine all ingredients except ginger beer in a separate cup & strain in to mule mug or cocktail glass. Top with ginger beer.
